- Our client is a German based international player in the health and well-being industry, with country offices in variuos European Countries, incl. Spain
- The company is specializing in the development, production and marketing of a wide range of products, with focus on nutritional supplements and OTC assortements
- The Spanish subsidiary generates a double-digit Mio. € turnover and sells white label and branded products manufactured by the Spanish site, other group’s manufacturing sites in Europe, or third parties
- Main customers are grocery & specialized retail chains (incl. pharmacies); Spain is an important market for the group and has significant potential
- For our client, we are now seeking a dynamic leader to head the commercial operations in Spain as Managing Director (a.g.), with a strong focus on Business Development
- This role requires an experienced professional who can define the strat. direction & at the same time act as an operational sales director, driving acquisition of new business
YOUR KEY TASK
- Lead the Spanish commercial organization to take the company to the next level by identifying and realizing sales opportunities with the group’s international portfolio
- Heading the commercial strategy and sales operations expanding the product portfolio and customer universe in the Spanish market, with attention to revenue/ pricing and cost management to increase profitability
- Develop, drive and lead the organization, motivating the team, facilitating followup and being an inspirational leader, generating and fostering a positive and challenging atmosphere
- Steering the day-to-day comm. ops. in Spain, based on structured KPIs
- Being an active member of the international commercial leadership team

YOUR PROFILE
- Proven experience in commercial management with focus on revenue growth, pricing/margin, sales/marketing (incl. Innovation/new product development)
- Minimum 10 years of successful experience in commercial leadership
- Deep understanding of the market, knowing main distribution channels and key players, especially in grocery and health retail chains, capable to establish new partnerships and strategic alliances to open up new business opportunities
- Previous experience in multinational environments with matrix organizational structures and defined & structured reporting systems
- Charismatic and positive leadership personality with strategic and operational strengths with an agile and dynamic approach
- Academic background in Engineering or Business Administration/Economics
- Spanish on native speaker level plus excellent English language skills
